A Consistent model of Electroweak data including Z →
نویسندگان
چکیده
We have performed an overall fit to the electroweak data with the generation blind U(1) extension of the Standard Model. As input data for fitting we have included the asymmetry parameters, the particle decay widths of Z, neutrino scattering, and atomic parity violation. The QCD coupling αs has been constrained to the world average obtained from all data except the Z width. On the basis of our fit we have constructed a viable gauge model that not only explains Rb and Rc but also provides a much better overall fit to the data than the Standard Model. Despite its phenomenological viability, our model is unfortunately not simple from the theoretical viewpoint. Atomic parity violation experiments strongly disfavor more aesthetically appealing alternatives that can be grand unified. The role of electroweak penguin and magnetic dipole QCD penguin on hadronic b Quark Decays
This research, works with the effective Hamiltonian and the quark model. Using, the decay rates of matter-antimatter of b quark was investigated. We described the effective Hamiltonian theory which was applied to the calculation of current-current (Q1,2), QCD penguin (Q3,…,6), magnetic dipole (Q8) and electroweak penguin (Q7,…,10) decay rates. The gluonic penguin structure of hadronic decays ...

In this research we work with the effective Hamiltonian and the quark model. We investigate the decay rates of matter-antimatter of quark. We describe the effective Hamiltonian theory and apply this theory to the calculation of current-current ( ), QCD penguin ( ), magnetic dipole ( ) and electroweak penguin ( ) decay rates. The gluonic penguin structure of hadronic decays is studied thro...
متن کاملFitting Precision Electroweak Data with Exotic Heavy Quarks
The 1999 precision electroweak data from LEP and SLC persist in showing some slight discrepancies from the assumed standard model, mostly regarding b and c quarks. We show how their mixing with exotic heavy quarks could result in a more consistent fit of all the data, including two unconventional interpretations of the top quark. Precision measurements of electroweak parameters at the Z resonan...
متن کاملAn enhancement of neutral tc transitions in the model of dynamical breaking of the electroweak symmetry Arbuzov B . A . and Osipov
An enhancement of neutral tc transitions in the model of dynamical breaking of the electroweak symmetry The problem of possible deviations from the Standard Model is considered in the framework of a variant of dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking. It comes clear, that the parameters of the theory, being obtained earlier and describing deviations from SM in Z → ¯ bb decay, are also consistent...
متن کاملConstraints on the electroweak universal parameters and the top and Higgs masses from updated LEP / SLC data
A global analysis is performed using the latest data from LEP and SLC. Constraints on the electroweak universal parameters (S, T, U) and on the masses of the top quark and Higgs boson within the Standard Model (SM) are investigated. The uncertainties due to the QCD and QED effective couplings, α s (m Z) and ¯ α(m 2 Z), are examined in detail. Even though the mean value of S is increased to be c...
